Hi I’m Lauren. It has been over 5 years now since I was first diagnosed with depression and anxiety. It is only in the past few years that I have felt comfortable enough to share my story. I am drawing on my own experiences with mental health and hope that by sharing these, I can help other people. When you’re in a bad place, it can feel incredibly isolating. No matter the number of people around you, you can still feel incredibly alone. Creating a space to share thoughts and to be able to read something and think, that is exactly how I feel, or have felt before, makes it feel less isolating. It is not only those who’ve had similar experiences but also those who may wish to learn more about what a loved one is going through.
